HOW TO BEGIN LIFE’S MOST MEANINGFUL JOURNEY?

God loves us in a huge way and wants us to experience the great purposes he has planned for our lives. To do that, each of us must look honestly at our position and poverty before God.

“All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” Romans 3:23. God is an awesome, perfect God, each of us has failed at times to live up to what He expects. “The wages of sin is death” Romans 6:23a. Without God’s help, we are dead in the water with God. “But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” Romans 6:23b. Because of God’s huge love for each of us, he has helped us:

“God demonstrates his own love for us in this, while we were still sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 He didn’t ask us to clean our act up – He provided the way for us. That is true for us all, no matter who we are, what we have done- God still loves us. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 Everyone!

“God I know that I have messed up at times and have not lived in a way that is right with you. I trust you to give me a better way through Jesus right now. I need you to forgive me and show me a better way to live my life. I believe you can and will change me and open up your purposes for my life. I’m asking you to help me live those purposes out in my life. Thank you for forgiving me and helping me is different.”
